Nervecentre V9.0 Help for Users
Sending DNAs to e-RS
If a patient doesn't attend their appointment, you can record that DNA Did Not Attend. in Nervecentre. If that appointment was booked through e-RS Electronic Referral Service. Used by GPs/patients to book initial appointments with specialists at a convenient time. This would replace the current system where a referral is made to the specialist who then sends out a letter with an appointment – if the patient can’t attend that appointment they’ll have to call back and rearrange., you can send a message to e-RS to record the DNA in e-RS. You can send more than one DNA in a message. This means you don't have to manually add each DNA in e-RS.
By recording the DNAs in e-RS, you let the referrer know that the patient didn't attend their appointment. For example, the patient's GP might want to ask the patient why they didn't attend.
You can view a list of DNAs to send to e-RS from Back office > E-RS > E-RS DNA Queue.
